Quick take
Modern Aminos did not let us in. On 2026-10-19 the homepage at modernaminos.com answered our request with HTTP 403, a refusal, and the subdomain new.modernaminos.com did not resolve at all. A sister domain, modernaminos.eu, exists. The result is that every field a buyer’s guide normally fills from the supplier’s own pages, certificates, catalog, prices, shipping, payments, returns and contact details, is unverified for this review. What we can tell you comes from Finnrick, an independent testing aggregator that published an intelligence report on the company in June 2026, and from Trustpilot, and we attribute each point to its source.
We tried the homepage directly, tried the new subdomain, looked for cached or archived copies, and then turned to the public record: Finnrick’s report, the US and European Trustpilot pages, and the FDA’s warning-letter database. A refusal to load is not itself evidence of anything; sites block automated requests for many reasons. But it means we cannot confirm a single price, policy or certificate, and neither can you until you reach the pages yourself.
Those outside sources describe a company that is hard to see even when its site is up. Finnrick ties the brand to a Wyoming LLC registered at 30 N Gould St in Sheridan, a mass registered-agent address, with an operator trail pointing to Idaho and no public beneficial owners. The US Trustpilot profile has been removed by Trustpilot with the notice that it goes against the platform’s guidelines; before removal, a search snippet had shown about 1,563 reviews. If you want the short version: a supplier that blocks review, has lost its review profile and operates behind a registered agent has given you nothing to check.
Testing, in plain English
We could not see a single certificate, so what follows is Finnrick’s account. According to Finnrick, the vendor cites certificates from four laboratories, Vanguard, Chromate, TrustPointe and Freedom Diagnostics, and Finnrick characterizes those labs as having uneven accreditation and unresolved allegations of certificate falsification. That is Finnrick’s characterization, not ours, and we have no way to weigh it against the documents themselves.
Finnrick’s own test results for one GLP-class product are more encouraging than the rest of the record: five passes in six classifiable tests between June 2025 and July 2026, with one identity failure on July 9, 2025 and a March 2026 sample measuring 21.7 percent below the vendor’s batch claim. Finnrick also notes that the vendor announced it would discontinue its GLP-class and related products effective December 31, 2025, yet Finnrick logged a test of such a product on July 20, 2026. The only two products in our record, a GLP-class item and CJC-1295, come from secondary sources, and we could not confirm either is currently sold.
In plain terms, the independent pass rate on the one product Finnrick tested is respectable, and everything around it, the laboratories, the catalog and the current status of the products, is unverifiable from where we stand. There is also a question of what you would be buying. If the discontinuation Finnrick describes took effect, the GLP-class items that make up most of the independent record may no longer be on sale, and the remaining catalog is something no source we have can describe.
Prices, shipping and policies
No price, product count, shipping method, turnaround or free-shipping threshold could be recorded, and we cannot place the supplier in a price tier. Nothing about payment methods could be read on the site.
Finnrick’s report fills in the policy picture, and it is not a friendly one. According to Finnrick, the terms make all sales final with a seven-day return window, and they contain anti-chargeback language that threatens escalation to fraud and law-enforcement channels if a buyer disputes a charge. For a lab that relies on the card dispute process as its safety net with a new supplier, that language is a reason to pause on its own. To be clear about what we can and cannot say: we have not read these terms ourselves. Finnrick quotes them, and the site that would let us confirm them is the site that refused our request. Finnrick also reports that the MODERN AMINOS trademark is owned by an unrelated company, Modern Sports Nutrition LLC.
On marketing, Finnrick counts 17 promoter placements for the brand, 14 of them carrying codes or links without clear disclosure, including a subreddit that used a referral code. Finnrick says the modernaminos.eu Trustpilot page carries negative reviews. The reported support email, cs@modernaminos.com, comes from Finnrick and is unverified. Whether the site carries a research-use-only disclaimer is unknown because we could not load it, and we found no FDA warning letter naming the company.
Should you order here?
We cannot recommend a supplier whose site we could not read, and the public record that remains does not change that. If the store becomes reachable, a buyer would still be weighing all-sales-final terms, a seven-day return window, chargeback language that discourages disputes, a company with no public owners, and a review profile that no longer exists.
Labs with a formal supplier-vetting step, buyers who need a refund route, and anyone who prefers a supplier whose owners are named should look elsewhere now rather than later.
The removed US Trustpilot profile deserves one more sentence. A profile that once showed about 1,563 reviews and now shows nothing is an absence, not a verdict; Trustpilot removes profiles for a range of reasons and does not publish them, so we treat it as missing history rather than as evidence of anything in particular.
If Modern Aminos opens its doors again and you are still curious, start with the certificates and the return terms, and read Finnrick’s report alongside them. Until then, the suppliers in our index with working sites, named laboratories and published addresses are where a first order belongs.

Questions
Is Modern Aminos legit?
We could not check the site, which returned HTTP 403 on 2026-10-19. Finnrick, an independent testing aggregator, reports a Wyoming LLC at a registered-agent address with no public owners, undisclosed promoter placements and a trademark owned by an unrelated company. The US Trustpilot profile has been removed by Trustpilot. None of this could be weighed against the supplier's own pages.
Is Modern Aminos third-party tested?
According to Finnrick, the vendor cites certificates from Vanguard, Chromate, TrustPointe and Freedom Diagnostics, laboratories Finnrick describes as having uneven accreditation and unresolved certificate-falsification allegations. Finnrick's own tests of one GLP-class product show five passes in six, with one identity failure on July 9, 2025 and a March 2026 sample 21.7 percent below the batch claim.
